OLA!
Hey guys!!
Hope you are all fine!! I want to say thank you so much for all your emails, sms, calls, letters, presents etc on the weekend. I was soooo happy to hear from you all and that you thought of me!!!
I had a good time on my birthday (shopping and party and park all day sunday with friends playing frisbee), even if I kind of missed my family&friends... but I knew it was going to be that way :( so no surprise. I always feel that way when I am away for my b'day. Guess it's quite normal.
I got a UK survival pack with Nutella, Pumpernickel, Haribos, Waffels and the best of German chocolate...mhmmmm... so that I don't starve here in the UK with only Fish and Chips :-)
...and I made it into the Gala with Prince Harry in less than 3 weeks... ;-)) That's an achievement I would say!! Thanks to Kathi&Anna for their creative work in this gossip mag - when I saw it, I nearly peed my pants from laughing so hard... :-) Pixs will soon follow... It's hillarious!! Girls - you are just great!
I have 2 new house mates: a Spanish girl from Barcelona, she is 23, very sweet, but has a boyfriend (if the boys had any thoughts on their minds while reading ;-P haha)
The other guy is a bit weird... is was born in 1966 (well that's not the reason why he's weird!), he is from Korea and here for an English course. Yesterday he was asking me what he should do for dinner, because he was obviously hungry and I told him he could either use the kitchen to cook sth or go out and have dinner someplace. Well the only reaction he gave me was a really concerned and weird look... And I thought: "Man, I am not gonna cook for you!! No way!"
I showed him the microwave and that kind of relaxed him a little bit. After this little conversation I didn't see him anymore, he seemed to have disappeared. Very strange! I think he hided in room - maybe he is scared of us 3 young girls ;-)
I wonder why he doesn't move to a hotel, since his company is actually paying for his 8 week stay... Well, we'll see
I just finished up my work for today and I am heading home in a minute. Have to do my laundry tonight - very exciting - and I will cook pasta, cause I am starving :-) 2morrow night we gonna see a movie called "the Queen". Anyone seen it already?
Ok, hope to hear from u soon
1 mio kisses

Hi daughter,
what a funny Korean guy, at least he gave it a try to get a good meal every night.
Ask him if he can show you 3 girls how to cook a good Korean meal. Wait for his reaction!!!!
Talk to you,
love mom

Hi, little daughter out there in the BIG WORLD!
How nice to read about the experiences you already made. What kind of Englisch do you use in the meantime; and still 2,5 month to go. So at the end I will need a vocabulary for translation!!!!
Why have you been so resistant to this Korean guy? Was a nice try from this Muttersöhnchen. Just inform him that in Germany men cook for their beloved! But I like the proposal of Mum.....
Next week I will be seeing Geoerge in Riyadh. Will be an interesting time. I will inform you about my experiences the week after when we see us in London.Looking very, very much forward seeing you (and trying the Dim Sums)
Love
Pöp
