Christmas presents debate :-)

Hello everybody, especially Pete ;-)
Finally I thought about opening the xmas presents debate... As we are getting there slowly but surely :-) It´s less than 4 weeks!! I heard that the xmas markets with the world´s best Glühwein were already opened up in Germany last Friday?! Without me :-( But I promise I will drink a lot of them when I come back... LOL Looking forward to it! How many did you drink already?!
So, what kind of presents do you think about giving to your family, friends, girl&boyfriends? Any general ideas? You don´t need to tell any secrets, but maybe some good ideas? I think we all could need some inspiration. And even more important, what presents do you have on your "Wunschzettel?" ;-) When do you plan to bye them? I guess the "boys from Horst" will get their presents on the 24th of December about 15 min before the shops close...as always?! Haha, I always love these stories...
Me personally, I think about getting some presents here in London...but right now there are only very few ideas on my mind...I think I have to take one Saturday afternoon and just walk through the shops...everything is so beautifully decorated over here, you really have to be careful not to buy too much! :-) My plan for the 24th is to have the traditional prossecco-breakfast with my girls :-) Jipiii!!!! That´s always amazing! Can´t wait to sit in the Kronski on that morning :-)
Looking forward to your freak comments! hihi
Hugs & Kisses to everybody!
Love ya, Kathi

XMAS IS COMING TO THE CITY

Hi everybody, these are the christmas lights on Regent Street...really beautiful! The other pic shows the laundry...an experience of its own... ;-)
The third picture: Pascaline from Belgium, Anna & her boyfriend Xevi (sorry Tommy :-) ) and me on the bus after a night out in London. Here everything is ok, I was a bit ill/sick over the last couple of days but now after app 1000 hours of sleep I am feeling much better... ;-)
Tomorrow a friend of mine (Katja from Germany) is celebrating her birthday. She is making dinner for 18 people and after that we are all going out to a club. I am really looking forward to this, should be a lot of fun! Thanks guys for all your latest comments - you are really the best!!

KOREAN/JAPANESE/GERMAN/SPANISH/ITALIAN PARTY - mhmm, did I miss anything?? :-)

Yong left our nice house last Friday to head back to his family in Seoul :-( and we organized a farewell party for him and some of his classmates. It was one of the funniest evening ever... speaking to all these Korean/Japanese guys, I think u can imagine that it was funny :-) ? And oh my gosh, they really love wine...we killed 6 or 7 bottles...can´t even remember!
They work for companies like Haägen Dazs, Philipp Morris, Samsung etc. and are all here to improve their English. Really funny guys! I think for everybody this was a nice & interesting evening! The first picture shows "the one and only group of housemates" - all together! :-)

SCHALKE 04 Ole Ole 4:0 :-))
Einen lieben Gruß in die Heimat und trinkt euch schön einen !!! Es ist Samstag! Jipiii!!!
MIX OF PICS :-)

Hi guys, alles klar?! That´s Anna, Paula (our new housemate from Italy & moi) late afternoon in Hyde Park last Sunday with a beautiful sunset
:-) and again the fish market in Notting Hill, although I had a terrible hangover last weekend and couldn´t really stand seeing the fish ;-)I am very good over here, had a great working week with lots of new experiences. I have worked on the World Travel Market for Sama Dubai (one of our clients) for 3 days and therefore met & spoke to people from all over the world. That truely has been an amazing experience, something I really love doing! Talked to a lot of people from Dubai and now I certainly have some people who will show me the place should I ever consider going there :)) Another awesome thing that happened to me this week is that my boss set up a chat with some of the people from the HR department next week, so that I can (if I want to) apply for the graduate scheme after finishing my studies next year... Jippiiii!!! I think i really wanna do that and my boss said I should definitely apply considering all the experiences I have already made during my stay so far. So maybe I will come back to beautiful London...
Today I really take it easy, I had to finish up some stuff for the university in Norway this morning (boring) and now I think I might go to Camden Town and see some freaks ;) Might aswell take my book with me and find a nice cafe to sit down, have a coffee and read. Tonight a friend of mine is coming over to have dinner here and after that we are invited to a party in Knightsbridge.
Hope you guys have a great weekend aswell
speak to you soon!
Kuss, Katharina

A PERFECT TIME

Hey everybody,
WOW - that´s the first thing I have to say... :-) The past week + weekend was one of the craziest and best in my life!
Kathi & me had an awesome time, it´s really hard to describe in words what we have experienced, but I can really say that we had a LOT of fun :-)
For all the people who might not know him (although I think this is nearly impossible, especially when you are a girl ;-)) the guy on the picture is Freddie Ljungberg. He is soooo HOT! On Friday night he walked into the collection bar in South Ken and when he passed our table Kathi & me couldn´t believe our eyes ;-) Was really nice. Kathi ended up speaking to him (brave girl-well done) and told him that he defininitely has to play next time the Swedish team is in our hometown Gelsenkirchen. And he said with a smile "Well, guess I have to" Haha - that was fun!
After that we had long and funny dancing night in Movida (a club) and came back home early in the morning. I think we both felt a bit dizzy all day Saturday...too much Gin Tonic :) but we couldn´t help it!
The other picture show the decoration for the Best of British awards last week in the H&K bar. It looked really nice!
On Sat I was really sad when Kathi had to leave, but I will definitely keep this week in mind forever :)
Now it´s just 6 more weeks for me here and whenever I think about the fact that I have to leave I am a bit sad :( (although I am very much looking forward seeing you guys) Really absolutely LOVE my time here!! But who knows maybe I am coming back one day...never say never
I also wanted to tell you thank u so much for the comments, they are absolutely brillant! My housemates always look at me a bit funny whenever I sit on the sofa and burst out laughing :) Keep up the good work!
Tomorrow I have to be in the office at 8 already, because we are going to the Exel conference center all day to interview some journalist and stuff
Speak to you soon
Take care and have a lovely week
Kathi

AND THE WINNER IS.....

That's the NO 1 picture!!! I won the award last night in H&K for taking the best London picture :-) They chose my pic out of 88 entries.
Got a bottle of wine :-) and a brand new digital camera from cannon :-) Jipiiii - what a night...
We danced all night long and had a lot of Gin Tonic. It was great!
See you guys! And by the way, you are sooooo crazy because of all the comments that you left on the page!
Kisses
Kathi
