LAST BLOG ENTRY FROM LONDON / QUICK WRAP-UP

Hi guys,

I just can't believe how fast the past 3 1/2 moths flew by... It sort of feels like I have been constantly in a movie, which they have put on fast forward..but real fast forward! Absolutly unbelievable!
Today was my last office day and I have to admit that it has been really great! Got some leaving/christmas presents, Jim (one of my bosses) hold a speech and the whole team was there to hand over the presents (a handbag, they really seem to know me ;)), a card and (what a surprise) a bottle of wine. I am such a drunk :-) Just kidding..
Oh Gosh, I am gonna miss these guys. Seriously it has been such a great pleasure for me to work in this kind of office, with this warm and fantastic team, it couldn't have been better! There is just one word to describe my time in London: AMAZING! The best time of my life - I know I am repeating myself, but it's the truth!
Tomorrow I am gonna catch my flight at 12ish, so should be back in GE at around 3/4 kind of thing. Can't wait to see you all! But for now, I got to enjoy my last night in London! ;)
Will have some leaving drinks (for tradition issues) in the office bar downstairs and afterwards I will meet some friends for dinner & drinks.
My suitcase is packed already - got shit loats of stuff with me - don't want to know how much overweight price I will have to pay tomorrow.
Ohhh, I could be really nostalgic right now - but don't worry, I won't!! Too excited to see you!

    sitting here at home, just arrived from NL, opened a bottle "Schumacher Alt", and thought by myself to visit your blog:
    Katharina, it is absolutely fantastic what you achieved and experienced in the past 3,5 month. Your're right, there is only one word: AMAZING.
    We are so proud of you, how you managed things, how you developed during those view month. I think you are ready now. Ready for everything you will decide in future for your life.
    And that makes me feel very good!

    On top of that you received presents from your employer; something that surely do not happen to too many people, I'm conviencent about that. Only bad guys would say that H&K is looking forward to get you off there :-)

    So London comes to an end now. For how long? Nobody knows.

    But I would like to thank you for your blog and that you have us - family, friends and colleagues -invited being a small part in your fast forward movie.It was always fun!

    But now: Schluß mit Englisch, auf nach Norwegen schön Smörebrööd essen und Hering lutschen. Bin schon mal auf deinen norwegischen Bergen Blog gespannt.

    Sei sicher, auch mit Fischköppen kann man Spaß haben. Du wirst die schon aufmischen da oben, wo es nur selten dunkel wird.....

    Hi mein Schatz,
    ein riesiges Danke schön auch von deiner Mom. Was habe ich die ganzen Einträge genossen - es sprach immer so viel Lebendigkeit und Lebensfreude aus ihnen.
    Jetzt freuen wir uns auf 2 gemütliche Wochen (ha, ha,...., wird sowieso nichts draus :-))und dann geht`s ab in den kalten Norden.
    Auch dorthin werden wir dich besuchen kommen!!!!

    I don´t wanna miss to leave a comment on your final blog entry!! For me it was also very very nice to see you living, acting and growing in London! Thank you for all your pictures and blog entries I really enjoyed to read them!!! And thank you also for the great Time spending hours on sending silly Audibles thru the messenger!
    Yesterday I had second last checkride, I passed. Only 27 Missions left until I get also on my plane back to Germany!
    And seriously I will have to pay also for Overweight!!

    I just say "final check in sight, CONTINUE"

    So jetzt ist aber schluß mit Englisch, weil bei den Fischköppen da werde ich auch mal vorbei schauen wenn Du in Bergen "Heringe lutschen gehst" (Diddi Lindemann)
