LIFE IN BERGEN

here are some little impressions of life in Bergen.
2 weeks ago Alex and me went up the Floyen mountain and from the top of it you have a wonderful view over the city center, the harbour, the typical wooden Norwegian houses and the mountains that surround the city.
Yesterday on the 1st of March it already felt a little bit like spring here in Bergen. I can´t wait to see everything here when it´s not that cold and grey anymore and when there will be lots of green trees and a lot of sunshine :)
On the 14th of March we are starting our trip to the Lofoten Islands...can´t wait to go there! It feels weird that I have been here already for 2 months now...time is soo fast. It´s just 3 more months for me here in this city and then I´ll go home again!
But before going to the Lofoten I have to get in good shape again, because I have to stay in bed right now due to fever and a cold :( It sucks, especially because there was sunshine all day today outside..
But we had a really nice brunch this morning... We were chatting & eating for 3 hours - we laughed lots and it was really realaxing! I just love long breakfasts!
There have been a lot of good news this week: Thomas finally got his scholarship at an American university and is heading to the AUM next Monday!! Gosh, can´t believe that I won´t see him before he leaves... :( But be sure, that I am looking for a way to visit you over there in the summer... hehe
I am sure he will settle in sooo fast into his new environment and he´ll learn so much about himself and life in general! Thommy I am so proud of you, that you achieved what you have been dreaming of for such a long time! A great success! Now: Go and enjoy it!!! And don´t party too hard over there ;)
Love ya
Kathi

Hi Nini,
the house is getting empty.
Thomas is gone this morning. I can`t believe it.
He was very much looking forward to it.
I know it will be the time of his life and that makes me happy.
Take care.

Hi Nini,
das Haus ist wirklich leer geworden.....wird Zeit, dass du im Juni schon mal wieder , zumindest für kurze Zeit da bist .-)
Deine Tour zu den Lofoten wird bestimmt einmalig!
Toll, was du erlebst!
Alles Liebe
Irmel
