HENDRIK WAS HERE :)

Hey guys,

just 2 more days!!!! Yeah!! Wow - I am excited to see you all... And I am really looking forward to my time in Germany, especially since I know that so many things will change and that it will be the last half year for me/us in Gelsenkirchen. ;) But I am excited about all of the future plans aswell. But let´s not think too far ahead - the summer is coming first!! :-)

I think that Hendrik absolutely fell in love with Bergen ;) We had a great time here, doing all the tourist stuff (and partying of course) and the sun also came out quite a few times, which was essential to make our trips possible in Europe´s most rain-laden city... haha

I am gonna start packing tonight. Might take a while actually.

Tomorrow we will hang out at the fjord for the last time and Tuesday I want to visit "Bergen´s Kunstmusem" and go shopping with the girls afterwards... :) Tuesday night we´ll have a little farewell party in our kitchen and I really hope it´s not gonna be too sad...

Looking forward to see everybody on Wednesday night!! Just can´t wait!!

ROADTRIP!!!!

Hey guys,

we had an amazing time on our roadtrip to Stavanger. It was one of my personal highlights of my time in Norway and I was very sad to leave this place after 4 days of excitement, adventure and a lot of fun!!! Great group of people, great atmosphere, great weather conditions, beautiful cabin & environment and the best hike ever!! Everything was just perfect!
I created an online photo album, so I could upload a lot more pictures than usually. They give you a pretty good impression of our Preikestolen hike (which was really the best one of my life :-) ), although in reality it was even better!

Hendrik is coming to Bergen for 4 days tomorrow and the weather forecast isn´t too good...
Let´s just hope that it´s not gonna rain 24/7, because I wanna chase him up Floyen and show him around the city center... hehe
Ok guys, I really hope you are enjoying the pictures from my awesome trip and that you can understand that it took me all my courage to sit close to the sheer...I felt really dizzy all the time ;)

DONE WITH EXAMS IN NORWAY AND HAVING A GOOD LAST TIME IN STAVANGER AND BERGEN :)

Hey guys,

yeessss!! I´m done with all my exams here!! The last one was pretty tough...I wrote for 5 hours...my head was very empty after that... ;) but now I am just happy to be done with everything and to be able to enjoy the last days of my "Norway-life".

We are heading to Stavanger for some days tomorrow and I can´t wait to go! It will be awesome, we have a nice house with a barbecue and a porch and we will do 2 main hiking tours to Preikestolen. All people who have been there say it was the best place that they´ve ever visited in Norway! I am excited!!!

Yesterday Norway celebrated their Independence Day and we were in the city to see the parades...it was so crowed, it seemed like all of Norway was out in Bergen :-) I hope you like the pictures that I added...it was a great and sunny day! I also added other pictures of the last days.

It´s just 1 1/2 weeks more and then I am gonna be home! :) It will be so great to see all of you guys!

EXAMTIME

Hi guys,

how are you all doing? Getting nervous in regard to the upcoming game on Saturday? Wow, this is gonna be a tough game... I really hope Schalke 04 is making it this time!!!! Please!!!! Schalke for Deutscher Meister!!! I think they deserve it!
My first 3 exams this week went pretty ok, Norwegian was good and the oral exam passed by so fast. Today I wrote my communication class exam and I got a pretty general phrased question about the relationship between the mass media and their audience and what challenges it faces in regard to the Internet and new media. I just put in all I knew and hope that it´s gonna be alright...haha
Tonight we´ll have a little "vorspiel" at a friends place in town, who is going back to Germany next week.

ENJOYING THE LAST WEEKS

Hey guys, a big hug&hello from Bergen!!! We are having a wonderful time right now, the weather is perfect and we were hanging out at the fjord 3 days in a row (check out the pictures below).
My first exam is on monday and then I´ll have 3 written and one oral one. But I feel pretty well prepared, it shouldn´t be that much of a deal. And with this kind of weather it is impossible to study anyway...
I am really "absorbing" every second here and I love Bergen so much in the summer/spring! It´s beautiful...
Before I leave in the end of May, some friends and me will rent a car and spend some days in Stavanger. Looking very much forward to it :-) And then my good friend Hendrik is gonna come for a visit for 3 days in May also! Juhuu!! :-) Can´t wait!! Kisses to all of you and hope you´re having a great time whereever you are.
